AUBURN, Calif. (AP) - Placer County’s 13 winery owners are seeking more freedom to offer public wine tastings and promote agri-tourism in the region. They are battling some county residents who fear there will be additional traffic and noise if tourists are drawn to the Sierra foothill wineries.
